Digitalization with E2E

Digitalization offers companies considerable opportunities. Most business processes can be implemented much more efficiently if they are completely or at least partially digital. Thanks to technological progress, many existing business models are increasingly being called into question.

The key word here is digital disruption. These innovation-driven upheavals are often associated with specific industries such as finance or commerce.

In the case of the banking sector, the main question is how they will deal with competition from FinTech companies and blockchain systems in the future. Retail companies, on the other hand, need omnichannel strategies to link online and offline channels as closely as possible. In both cases, technological change leads to massive changes. Retail companies and banks can either take an active role and see digitization as an opportunity or risk being pushed aside by new players.

The industries described are only examples of a development that goes far beyond the financial industry and retail. All economic sectors and public administration are now affected by digitisation. The effects of technological change will intensify considerably in the coming years, not least thanks to ever shorter innovation cycles.

We have been supporting companies in their digital transformation for over 20 years.

Process digitalization for the state police

Previously, the state police authorities in Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate had to carry out many manual enquiries from employees. This resulted in an enormous workload for employees and, in some cases, delays in processing applications. With the help of comprehensive automation via the E2E BRIDGE integration platform, most of the processes are now digitalised. This saves the state police 85% of the routine work and the employees have more time to concentrate on more complex tasks.

Digital order processing in the furniture trade

The delivery and assembly of furniture is a process in which little has changed in the past. The assembler gets the routine from the head office, drives to the customer and takes care of the follow-up at the end of the working day. The exchange of information is inflexible and takes place with a considerable delay. On the following page you can find out how digitalisation can take place on the road.

Digital document management

In many companies, archiving documents causes considerable work. If document management is digitized, this not only reduces the amount of work, but also significantly increases transparency. Instead of having to search for important documents in folders, all information is directly available in electronic form.

BPM Process Engine & Middleware in one

For digitization projects, we rely on the graphical programming and modeling languages BPM and UML. These offer significant advantages in terms of transparency, speed, agility and stability when implementing business processes. The functionality of our integration solution goes far beyond classic middleware solutions.

What is digitalization?

The term digitalization is used synonymously for several meanings. In addition to the electronic conversion and presentation of information, the term often also refers to the digital modification of devices and vehicles. In our projects we focus on the digitization of operational processes, i.e. the processes in companies.

What are the advantages of process digitalization?

If processes are digitized, this is usually done with the intention of increasing the efficiency of the operating procedures and reducing costs. The use of software usually considerably reduces the manual work required and thus offers employees the opportunity to devote themselves to value-adding tasks. A comprehensive digitalization of the process steps eliminates media breaks. The transparency and traceability of processes can thus be increased. Especially when switching from manually recorded work to digital processes, there is considerable potential for optimization. Switching from paper and pen to digital processes not only saves costs and processing time, but also reduces the error rate many times over.
